Summer and Thor took to the new puppy instantly although this time it was Thor's turn to be totally enthralled with the new arrival. Well, Summer had already ‘been there, done that’ with Thor when he first joined us. As far as Summer was concerned the new arrival was great to play with but she was quite happy to let Thor take the brunt of Kira's cheeky puppy behaviour, and boy did she call that one correctly!   A happy family 
You can tug all yoy like but you're not having it this time!  Kira was an absolute terror, taking all sorts of liberties with Thor - biting his toes and ears and stealing his treats at every opportunity she got. Thor wouldn’t do anything to tell her off, in his eyes she could do no wrong, so what if it sometimes hurt when she bit his toes, she was only playing and it was him she had chosen to play with so that was fine by him. After a couple of months as she grew bigger and stronger, (she had even started trying to drag him across the patio by his tail while he was led down). He finally accepted that this little girl had to be taught that this was not the way to treat your older brother. Don’t worry though, he did this in his typically nice way, by growling at her and occasionally snapping , (whilst always being very careful to never actually make contact), just to prove to her that he could if he wanted to, so she had better behave. And it worked! 

Being out numbered by the girls didn't bother Thor one bit, in fact, he absolutely revelled in having the two girls to chase him around the garden.  Girls versus Boys! 

Kira has always adored getting wet. Even as a puppy, if there was water within a hundred yards of her, she would find it and be in it in seconds. She even used to dig all the water out of her drinking bowl if the weather was hot.
Arhhhh, it's COLD!  Not quite deep enough for a swim  Wet & mucky, just the Kira likes it! 
It's not enough just to be in the
water, she also likes to dunk her face in too 		 Kira prefers it when the water is deep enough for a swim but failing that a paddle will do  Wet, muddy and so happy! 

kiras greatest passion in life (other than playing in water of course) is rig running. But, as this subject has its own page on this website, I've put the photos on there rather than on this page.

holding a cup of tea 		 Kira simply loves sharing a good cup of tea. Perhaps it's because she is a biscuit & white Sammie, after all, biscuits and tea do go together!

Kira, Taeus and Anika have all chosen one special toy each that they never play with but do love to suckle on when resting. It is so sweet to see! 		 lying in the flower beds.
Well, part of her KC registered name is Snowflower! 
On her table  Snoozing on the sofa 
this was meant to be our patio table for our drinks etc but Kira decided that it was much better put to use as a nice airy platform for her to lie on  snoozing on the sofa 
On the swing seat  Tired Kira 
Kira is also rather partial to snoozing on the garden swing seat when the cushions are on it  Oh, sorry Kira, did we wake you Darling?
