As a puppy  and how he looks now

True to form, Summer and Kira took to Taeus immediately and started playing with the new arrival instantly. The girls had a great time playing with Taeus but he did inially tire them out quite regularly. They had got used to having a little lie in with their Mum in the mornings but that all goes straight out the window when a puppy arrives.

Even with all his energy Taeus has always been a very cuddly boy!

His favourite spot in the garden. There used to be flowers here but Taeus 'Titchmarsh' soon got them out of his way. Mortisha Adams would just love what he did to the roses!

In 2003 we took Taeus and Anika to the SBOL Fun Day where they had a thoroughly great time.
This is Taeus' Sheriff Outfit that he wore to win the fancy dress competition!

Although he is much bigger now, Taeus still loves a cuddle

Now that Taeus is older, he does enjoy having a nice drink with his Dad

Sharing a Pint with Dad
(Don't worry its only milk really!)
And then later, the two of them sleeping it off!

Taeus' really big passion in life is the show ring. He just loves going to shows and strutting his stuff. He has done really well too, he has 2 CCs and 6 RCCs. To see some of his achievements in the ring or some of the judges comments about him see the menu to the left for 'View Taeus' Show Achievements' and 'Taeus' Critiques'.

Taeus also loves...
  Playing with the other dogs
being on the tie out line at the races  playing with the other dogs
Being groomed  Sun bathing with Kira
being groomed
(well he does like to look good!)
relaxing in the garden with Kira
A nice chew  King of the Bones!
a nice chewy  or a nice juicy bone or two
(if you look closely, you will see that he actually has two bones on the go at once)

Taeus waited outside the study door for days when Anika had her first litter of puppies at the end of 2006. He would listen to the sounds of the pups on the other side and keep asking to be allowed in, just longing for his chance to meet them. Taeus was so thrilled when he did get to say hello to the five new puppies and he loved nothing more than playing with them.

Here the puppies are a few weeks old and out in their play pen in the sitting room. You can see Taeus inviting the pups to play with him again.

In this shot Taeus is playing with a very young Togo. Right from the outset Taeus seemed to choose Togo as his favourite pup. Sometimes if all the pups were sleeping, Taeus would go over and wake one for a little play and we soon spotted that it was always Togo (then identified as Blue pup) that he chose to wake.

This is Taeus and Togo at one of Togos first champtionship shows. They did actually have one bench space each but Togo chose to snuggle up on Taeus' bench with him instead.

Taeus giving Togo some last minute tips before Togo goes into the ring.

In 2008 Taeus became a Daddy himself after he sired Anikas' second litter!
(To see all of the 8 pups in this litter click on the 'Second Polarspirit Litter' option in the menu bar to the left)

In these photos Taeus is playing with his son Solomon, who we kept from that litter.
The adult dogs know only too well when the youngsters are still too small to be able to jump up onto the sofas and so they like nothing more than teasing them and making the most of their vantage point over them. Solomons' favourite game is wrestling but when he can't reach Taeus properly, he is happy to make do with a game of mouth wrestling instead.
